May was a jam-packed month. The highlight was the 6th Geological Conference that featured
over 450 participants, geologists, geophysicists, engineers, business leaders, managers, students,
consultants and vendor company personnel, over 3 days held at the Hyatt Regency. Thanks again
to all sponsors, exhibitors, presenters and delegates. Highlights included 3 short courses, 68
technical presentations, 24 poster presentations, 7 field trips (including Barbados and Tobago),
a panel discussion featuring the current Minister of Energy, the launch of the GSTT Mentoring
Program, a Stratigraphic Symposium, five keynote speeches and an Exploration Symposium
Panel Discussion. Not to be forgotten, the last day ended with a fantastic cocktail party.
