Dear Readers,

It is with great fervour that we welcome you to the 2026 Q2 Hammer, and our first issue as co-Editors-in-Chief.

Our goal, similar to the editors before us, is to highlight the technical and non-technical work, ideas, research, and commentary of our students, young professionals and professionals alike; and to provide a platform for our geoscience community to share their knowledge and expertise.
