Each participant will be introduced to the purpose of reservoir model design, followed by the four main areas on why many models fail and how to avoid them, including concept-based modelling, handling reservoir properties, scale and uncertainty. The course will be delivered in modules so that the participants can opt for the full 2-days or 1-day only. Dr. Mark Bentley, a renowned expert in reservoir modelling, co-author of the popular book ‘Reservoir Model Design’ and training director at TRACS international will facilitate this course. Any subsurface professional interested in learning more about reservoir modelling is welcomed to join this course.
